¿Como será el futuro de Venezuela sin el comandante Hugo Chávez?

El 5 de Marzo del 2013, será recordado como un día que marcó un parteaguas en la historia de Venezuela, el Presidente Hugo Chávez Frías, comandante supremo y líder de la Revolución Bolivariana, como lo llaman sus seguidores, falleció en las instalaciones del Hospital Militar en Caracas, Venezuela, después de dos años de una lucha que parecía interminable contra el cáncer que padecía.

¿Como era Hugo Chávez?, ¿Líder carismático y preocupado por su pueblo, como lo exaltan sus partidarios?, o ¿presidente corrupto, antidemócrata y censurador como acusan sus detractores?, no escribo este artículo con la intención de describir la Venezuela bajo el gobierno de Hugo Chávez, ni mucho menos con la intención de presentarme como experto en socialidad y política internacional, simplemente como un ciudadano de América, que ha sido testigo de un hecho que sin lugar a dudas, llevará a un comienzo mejor o peor en la historia de la República Venezolana, eso lo decidirá el mismo pueblo.

A la muerte del presidente Chávez, más de uno se ha formulado la pregunta que le da nombre a este artículo, ya que el destino de una de las naciones con las mayores reservas petroleras del mundo esta en juego, y mucho más importante que eso, la proosperidad y el futuro de más de 28 millones de ciudadanos.

Con honestidad comento que desconozco a ciencia cierta las condiciones de vida de los Venezolanos, lo único que se puede conocer en un lugar tan lejano como México, son los comentarios que se realizan a través de la televisión Venezolana, expropiada por el gobierno del presidente Chávez y como tal al servicio de éste, o de las redes sociales que sin duda representan un instrumento inconmensurable que proporciona el punto de vista de los ciudadanos de pie.

Hugo Chávez ganó las elecciones del año 2012, para reelegirse para un nuevo periodo de Gobierno al Gobernador del Estado de Miranda, Henrique Capriles (@hcapriles), que nunca imaginó que tendría tan pronto una nueva oportunidad para traer el cambio de rumbo y la unidad que fue el lema de su campaña, es sin duda alguna, un político muy respetado y estimado por mucha de la población de Venezuela, que ven en Capriles la oportunidad de un cambio de estrategia y rumbo para su nación, después de 14 años de políticas sociales, las llamadas “Misiones” del comandante Chávez que sin duda, han mejorado la condición de vida de muchos ciudadanos, pero que han estancado el progreso del país al otorgar enormes subsidios a la gasolina por ejemplo, pero descuidando la inversión en investigación y desarrollo de empresas y oportunidades de empleo.

Antes de morir, Chávez anunció que era su deseo, en caso de que ocurriera, que Nicolás Maduro, Vicepresidente en su momento, y actualmente Presidente encargado, fuera elegido Presidente, como uno de sus primeros actos de gobierno, Maduro instruyó a las instituciones electorales de Venezuela, a que convoquen a elecciones, tal y como lo establece la constitución de esa nación, sin embargo, muchos expertos en temas electorales, afirman que lo establecido en la constitución, es decir 30 días después de la ausencia total del Presidente, es muy poco tiempo para preparar una elección en la que hay tantas cosas en juego.

Es mi deseo más sincero que sea el pueblo de Venezuela el que elija a su líder, ya que esto, indistintamente del resultado, traerá certeza y legitimidad a las instituciones, sea Capriles y su nuevo modelo de nación, o Maduro y su continuación de las políticas hasta el día de hoy vigentes; Venezuela y sus ciudadanos son los que tienen la última palabra, un saludo fraternal a nuestros hermanos Sudamericanos y mis mayores deseos de prosperidad y mejor futuro para su nación.

   How will be the future of Venezuela without the Commander Hugo Chávez?

   
   
   
   On March 5, 2013, will be remembered as a day that marked a watershed in the history of Venezuela, President Hugo Chavez Frias, supreme commander and leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, as his followers call him, died in Military Hospital facilities in Caracas, Venezuela, after two years of a seemingly endless fight against his cancer.
   
   How was Hugo Chavez?, Charismatic leader? Concerned for his people, as its supporters extol, or do corrupt president, antidemocratic and as censorious detractors accuse?, I do not write this article with the intention of describing the Venezuela under the Hugo Chavez's government, much less with the intention to introduce myself as an expert on international politics and sociality, simply as a citizen of America, which has seen a fact that undoubtedly will lead to a better start or worse in the history of the Venezuelan  Republic, that will decide the same town.
   
   Upon the death of President Chávez, more than one has asked the question that gives the name to this article, as the fate of one of the nations with the largest oil reserves in the world is at stake, and much more important than that, prosperity and the future of over 28 million citizens.
   
   Commented honestly I do not know for sure the lives of Venezuelans, all that could be found in a place as far away as Mexico, are the comments made by Venezuelan television, expropriated by the government of President Chavez and as such the service thereof, or social networks, that certainly represent an instrument that provides immeasurable in terms of citizens standing.
   
   Hugo Chavez won the election of 2012, for re-election for a further term of government to the Governor of the State of Miranda, Henrique Capriles (@ hcapriles), he never imagined it would soon bring a new opportunity to change course and unit that was the theme of his campaign, is undoubtedly a politician very much respected and esteemed by the people of Venezuela, Capriles who see the opportunity for a change in strategy and direction for their nation, after 14 years of political social, calls "missions" of Commander Chavez that have undoubtedly improved the living conditions of many citizens, but have stalled the progress of the country by providing huge subsidies to gasoline for example, but neglecting investment in research and development business and employment opportunities.
   
   Before he died, Chavez announced that he wished, if it happened, that Nicolas Maduro, Vice President at the time, and currently Acting President, was elected President, as one of his first acts of government, Maduro instructed electoral institutions of Venezuela, to convene elections, as established by the Constitution of that nation, however, many experts in electoral matters, state that the provisions of the constitution, 30 days after the absence of the President, is very little time to prepare an election in which there is so much at stake.
   
   
   It is my sincere hope that as the people of Venezuela to elect their leader as this, regardless of the outcome, will bring certainty and legitimacy to the institutions, whether Capriles and its new model of nation or Maduro and continuation of policies to the current day, Venezuela and its citizens are the ones who have the final say, fraternal greetings to our South American brothers and my best wishes of prosperity and better future for their nation.
